 Dr. Michael Emmen

Dr. Michael Emmen is the Senior Medical Officer at Phoenix Base.  He has many years of experience working in battle zones.  He also spent some time working in the SGC before being transferred to Phoenix Base.  He insisted his wife, Dr Roberta Emmen also be given a position at the base.  

Michael was born in Laramie, Wyoming in 1969.  He joined the Air Force after graduating high school.  The Air Force paid his way through medical school.  He worked his way up the ranks.  He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel, but prefers to be called by his medical title, not his military rank.

Michael met Roberta in medical school.  They worked closely together on projects and quickly fell in love.  In 1996, they married.  They have worked many assignments together and have become an amazing team together.

Dr. Michael Emmen has revolutionized medicine and the medical facilities at Phoenix Base.

Dr. Roberta Emmen

Dr. Roberta Emmen is the second most senior medical officer at Phoenix Base.  Roberta is a highly skilled doctor.  

Roberta is from Santa Fe, New Mexico.  She was born in 1970.  She worked hard in school and worked on a medical degree.  As the money ran out to pay for her education, and at the encouragement of her fellow classmate and future husband, she joined the Air Force Reserves.

Roberta has been a doctor all over the world, often serving with her husband, Dr. Michael Emmen.  She is now living on Haven as a permanent assignment with her husband, supporting Phoenix Base.  They do not live on the base, but do live in the nearby village of Shprese.  They also have been allocated a 4x4 Jeep to use to travel to home and back to the base.

Roberta currently holds the rank of Major in the Air Force.
