John Calhoun

 Captain John Calhoun

John is a scientist on Phoenix-6.

John was born 13 Aug 1981 in Dominican Republic.  He was adopted as an infant by Greg and Margaret Calhoun of Brigham City, Utah, USA, Earth.  John grew up with 2 brothers and 3 sisters, each adopted by the Calhoun family.  

John studied biology and botany at Brigham Young University, and later earned a PhD from Ohio State University.  His unique theories about plant life gained the attention of those in Stargate Command.  John was recruited to help assist in Area 51 but was later transferred to Phoenix Base. 

Thanks to John's knowledge and insight, great strides have been made regarding various alien plants that have been found across the galaxy.

Major/Lt Col Don Bradford Don was born in Alabama, USA, Earth.  His father was stationed at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base at the time.  Don moved across the country in his childhood, until his father's F-4 Phantom was shot down.  His father never returned from that conflict.  When he came of age, Don elected to honor his father's memory and joined the US Air Force.
